I like this week. I think I'm going to learn a lot, despite not painting from life. There's a certain range of environment and persons that you just can't get from life. Photos can fill in these gaps very well it seems.
The goal for this was to do a study from a photo, then take the knowledge we learned from the photo to apply to a new original sketch. Most of my work will probably be digital, as it just makes sense for photos it seems. If I find a great one, I might do an oil painting of it, especially if it's my own photo.
So the formula for these will be:
Original / my study / imaginative painting from knowledge gained from the study
